Globalisation Globalisation
is a tendency for the world economy to work as one unit, led by large
international companies doing business all over the world. This process
has its advantages and disadvantages. The great advantage of Globalisation is
that it increases the competition. Companies have to order their affairs so
they compete in global market. Global companies usually provide good
standards of quality, and this quality is stable. Moreover Globalisation
helps to solve problems of unemployment in the countries of the third world. But the same
time advantages are outweighed by a large number of disadvantages. The first one
is that in some countries international companies rule the roost and strongly
influence government’s actions. In the future
the process of Globalisation will gather pace and the power of companies
would increase. The other
problem is one of the unemployment in the western world. As companies want to
improve their profitability, they are looking for the low-coast centres. We
are just about to see a change in global economy, because of the
addition the china and So we are going
to see the flight of capital from the west. One if the best
examples of global company is Gillette. The The other
company that is turning to global is Boeing, The world’s most successful
aircraft maker. The Boeing’s chairman want’s Boeing to be a “Global
enterprise”.. This would mean increasing the number
of countries of operation. He also want his company
to lose their national image. As for me, I’d
like to work in global company. The reasons are that first of all global
companies are stable and my profit will be stable. Than there are
opportunities to make a good career. And at last most of global companies
provide good opportunities for travelling, I can admire all over the world by
business trips. |
