Problems of great cities and villages

There is a long lasting argument between great cities and villages. What is better? There are different points of view to this problem.

Urbanization - this terrible word sounds very often nowadays. It means that territories of towns are growing and villages are cutting down the same time.

Town means lots of transport, traffic jams, gases, rubbish. That is why growing towns means decreasing of ecology of the Earth.

The village means clean air, lots of trees and other plants? Calm atmosphere, no cars, no traffic jams. It’s good for nature, but the same time lack of transport is also disadvantage.  Without regular transport it becomes difficult to reach the place of work or study.

Moreover villagers have no ability to get full education. Because the most villages have neither school nor university.

But the town gives such abilities. Great cities usually have a great variety of education institutions and places to work. However in villages dominates unemployment which led to great number of alcoholics, drug addicts and thefts.

The level of life in towns is much higher. There are all necessary services near home, for example medical service or police. People have great variety of places to go to, for example theatres, museums, clubs, cinemas.

But I n comparison with aggressive towns villages have the greatest advantages, such as calm life, clean air, that are necessary for the health.
